It depends on how much you spent to obtain it and how much profit you want to gain from it. The last I checked it was $12.89 an Oz., You'll probably get about a dollar under the "spot" price.

Sell the gold. Silver is better to hold on to in hard times there is always room for the price to go up and your more likely will be able to cash it out in an emergency than gold.

There's something you need to know about investing. if everyone (including a bunch of random people on yahoo) knows that the price isn't going up, everyone would sell... and that would make them all worth less. No one ever truly knows whether the market is going on anything. the exception is stock brokers and similar professionals, but they watch the value of these things very carefully, do tons of research, and even then can only make little predictions, and make like... 5%. A bigger question is, do you want to be safe from the american dollar becoming valueless? if you're worried about that, keep the metals. i think it's a possibility, im keeping mine. If you just want some money, now is as good a time as any.

Silver and gold are each going to keep heading up. I would dump the gold coins but keep the silver ones. Silver has more of a future in my opinion as its more rare than gold, has more uses and has some market implications that keep it unreasonably low in value.
