well youre a bit mixed up. there were no 1923-1940 morgan dollars, there were peace dollars, but those were stopped in 1935. $10 each. halves are $4.50, and dimes are 85 cents each. the bank wont take them for over face value. if you want, put it in rolls and have some little kid find them and add them to his collection.

Go to two or three coin stores. Get estimates of what they will give you.

If they are extremely worn, not good and the fifties are not very old.

They may just be worth a bit over face value.

i would take them to a coin dealer to find out how much they maybe worth

I would put them on eBay. I know my dad would buy them. A lot of peeps would. You can sell them in a set or individually.

Try putting them up for auction. I would start the bidding out low, and see what happens. The fact that they are worn shows that they were in circulation at one time, and will affect the overall price that they go for. Uncirculated coins are more sought after, but you still should be able to sell your coins. I wouldn’t take them to the bank as for they either won’t take them, or will only give you face value for them. I would start my price out at the original value of the coin, and anything over that will be a profit.
