How much would you be willing to pay for 8 silver Morgan dollars that were made in the 1880s?
Sadie C asked:
I have 8 of them that Im putting on ebay and I was wondeirng what people would pay for them
I took them to a coin shop and they were going to offer me $40 dollars for all of them. These are coins that I have been told were worth thousands. That is way below the value of the coins.
That shouldn't be allowed for somebody to make an offer to me like that.
You should never tell people to go to a coin shop, you alwasy should go to somebody who is a certified coin appraiser.

If you can, email me the item numbers when you list them and I will tell you the pricing based on the condition, date, and mint mark of the coins. If they are exceptional coins, I might be able to buy them from you.
As previously stated, the price varies a great deal based on the date, the mint mark, and the condition. Older doesn’t necessarily mean more expensive. Take them to a local coin shop and ask. They will almost certainly make you an offer. You probably don’t want to sell them that way unless you have more information, but that will give you a baseline figure.
And don’t clean them or shine them up, that ruins the value.
