That depends on the actual condition of the coin and the mint it came from. You’re looking at anywhere from $14 on up into the thousands depending on these two factors.

You can get it graded and appraised. I’d recommend having a couple of dealers look at it.

You can also get a good idea of what similar coins are going for by going to a site specializing in online coin auctions. Go to a site like and look for other Morgan Dollars with a similar mint and in the same condition is your coin. You can get a general idea of what yours is worth.

i would get an appraiser to make an estimate on it, they would have a much better idea than anyone on here probably would.
