This coin looks real and is in very good condition. Does it have any value? Can someone explain the significance of the word COPY?
I'm referring to the Seated Liberty type, not the Morgan dollars.
I have a lot of old morgan dollars, peace dollars, dimes, quarters etc. I would like to have a few silver rings made from the silver content. Is it illegal to melt old US coins?

When my father passed away a couple of years ago he left me some Morgan Dollars, and some steel nickels like for the 1940's. I have searched but acnnot find any place that can tell me how much they are worth.
bought from publishers clearing house
The front of the coin looks like a morgan dollar, but it has no date. The back says One Troy Ounce, 31.1 Grams, .999 Fine Silver, Silver Trade Unit. The back also has a set of scales on it. Any clues on what this could be?

I also have some uncirculated Eisenhower series from 1972 and 1974.
As well as some other uncirclulated coins in wrappers with the whole sets. Some sets have two pennies, some have a coin that is printed in blue or red. There are red packs and blue packs like on the side (ribbon). Hope i explained that well.
Thank you in advance for your answers.
I have a Morgan Silver Dollar. It is in Very Good condition, and on it are the words "E Plurbus Unum", year 1899. Does anyone know what it would be worth?
The Mogan dollar is from 1879 and the peace dollar is from 1923 I am trying to find out how much they are worth.
I am not a coin collector but I recently got interested in purchasing some Morgan Silver Dollars on ebay. Up until today, I purchased 3 of these coins ( 1 for $ 9.50 + 2 for $ 12.50 each ). Today on ebay I bought a " lot " of 11 of these Morgan Silver Dollars for $ 12.50 for the whole " lot " of 11. The ebay coin dealer " ad " said these were mixed dates & were graded from F 8 to F 20. I can't imagine that I got " ripped of " at that price ?...but I was hoping that a true coin collector could enlighten me as to what I may have purchased with respect to these coins & also guide me as to what I should look for or seek if I purchase any more Morgan Silver Dollars ? Also, I ordered something called " Never Dull Polish " which I understand is okay to use to clean these coins ? I haven't received any of above 14 Morgan dollars or the polish yet; but it has also been suggested that I buy Black Ring Airtite Morgan Holders ? I would welcome any good advice or guidance ?
I bought seven rolls of 20 coins each as an investment in the early 1980's. They have generally been a bad investment, but the values have gone up recently. I would like to sell. Which is the wiser course - - selling to a local dealer or at a local coin show (which is coming up in two months)? Some other way? I don't want to sell on eBay. I live in the Research Triangle area of North Carolina.
For the record, this is what I have:
1 roll 1884-0 pretty darn close to "Brilliant Uncirculated"
1 roll 1921 Morgan - close to "Almost Uncirculated"
3 rolls 1921 Morgan - noticeably below AU but still have very good definition in the hair strands
1 roll 1922 Peace - like the prior roll, it is definitely not AU but also shows no obvious or major wear; also some seem to be dirtier than you'd expect for so little wear
1 roll 1923 Peace - same as immediately above
I'm not a serious coin collector, although I enjoy coins.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Is it better to coins from a local coin dealer or online. There is one online dealer www.austincoins.com that appears to be very reliable 14 day money back guaranteee, shipping included. That's just one that I came accross. Purchased a few pcgs certified ms64 morgan dollars from them and am very pleased. But I'm new to all this. But which is better online or local, or does it make a difference?
i have read somewhere that it has 90% silver content, can anyone do the math as to how much ounces each coin has?
me a ball park figure on them
