Is it better to coins from a local coin dealer or online. There is one online dealer www.austincoins.com that appears to be very reliable 14 day money back guaranteee, shipping included. That's just one that I came accross. Purchased a few pcgs certified ms64 morgan dollars from them and am very pleased. But I'm new to all this. But which is better online or local, or does it make a difference?

I collect hallmark ornaments, keychains, and mcdonalds happy meals stuff. I also have some old coins. I have 8 silver morgan dollars, the first barble doll, and an old 1953 lionel train. I also have an old american eagle coin and a 1943 steel cent.

I have a 1921 U.S. Dollar coin. I know its a morgan coin (I think) and its in decent condition. Ive read some of the other questions about it and it seems to be from around $11-$17. On my coin though, on the eagle side, the silver is chipping and its gold underneath...does that change the value any?

My favorite coin is the 1921 Morgan Silver Dollar. My next favorite is the 1921 Peace dollar, and after that, the modern Silver Eagles. I like Walking liberty halves, Franklin halves, then mercury dimes. The 1964 silver Kennedy half is a beautiful coin. The coin I collect the most, lately is the nickel, since it's solid and not clad- crap-cartoon money. The penny is my least favorite, not for its low value on face, but it's general low quality bronze on zinc which will rot away if left on a windowsill. My favorites will be all put aside for my great grandchildren.

I get a kick out of, when I meet an immigrant, showing them a Morgan Silver Dollar. I got a silver 1967 Mexican peso in for $3, and I enjoy playing with it. I'd like to get my hands on a Bavarian Euro.

what you would grade this coin. The contact marks on the front of the coin cannot be seen just by looking at the coin unless your closeup as in the scan. This coin still has a good bit of mint shine present. I have read that 1880-o is a semi-key date is this true.
