They were given to my mother when I was born in 1966 from my grandfather in the West.
like lady libertys or morgan dollars?
we'll these are worth thousands of dollars. they were made in 1800s.
to keep myself from wondering off too far im trying to focus my collection on silver dollars, i.e., morgan dollars. peace dollars, silver eagle dollars. I prefer to collect certified dollars because they are easier to store for me. which is more of a better investment to focus on?
hey i have 59 morgan dollars some as old as 1896 but i was wondering if anyone knew about how much they were worth and what year was the most valuable?! thanx
Someone offered me $22 for a proof 1986 American Eagle silver dollar that I own, mint in velvet box with certificate of authenticity. I've been doing my home work on this and they usually sell for around that price, I think it's fair. What I'm wondering is, is it worth selling now for $22 or would it increase in value as time goes on?
For that matter, does any one know if the same applies for an 1883 Morgan Dollar?
Thanks!
1921- morgan silver dollar.
1999- 1 oz silver dollar

I have some old coins that I'd like to get rid of but I'm not sure where to go. I have several old Morgan dollars, very worn, ranging in date from 1923-1940. I have half dollars, also very worn, ranging in date from 1951-1960, and some VERY old dimes ranging in date from 1919-1935. Because they are not brand new and are not used in circulation anymore, I don't know what to do with them. Can I take them to the bank, or would anyone actually be interested in buying them? Your input would help me greatly. Thanks.
I do not know how to tell where it was made or anything. Could someone please tell me where to find the specific markings. thanks.
i have the following coins.
1982 george washington 250th anniversary
1921 MORGAN SILVER DOLLAR
1972 Half-dollar with the eagle upside down on the back
1957 Franklin half dollar
1939 Walking Liberty Half Dollar
1898 O Morgan Silver Dollar
1923 Silver Peace Dollar
how much money can i get for all of these?
